Situation: Niles Pie Company was a one woman show working out of a shared use kitchen sought to expand business.
Solution: Assisted client by creating a financial growth model and goals to meet in order to get into her own kitchen as a viable business with employees, farmers markets and a retail outlet. Assisted client with lease negotiation and kitchen build out of commercial equipment, wrote and trained on the human resources manual, created marketing plan and a consumer-packaged goods plan and execution to launch sales into retail. Trained staff on pastry, knife skills, sales and customer service.
Result: Client situated in her own kitchen with a long term financially viable lease with a complete install and build-out, a menu with financial analysis and viable cost of goods sold, a human resource manual as the basis for a company culture and a fully trained staff.
